G.1  INTRODUCTION

You can link relays in OneLiner to external setting data sources, such as ASPEN Relay Database (RDB), ENOSERV PowerBase or manufacturer relay setting files (e.g. SEL RDB files, GE URS files…). This linkage will allow OneLiner to automatically retrieve settings from the external source to update relays in the OLR network. You can also store linked OneLiner relays data to your ASPEN relay database. With the external data linkage in place, OneLiner program can be made an integral part of enterprise electronic relay data management systems.

In this Appendix you will find details about:

1.   Linking OneLiner relays to external setting data source

2.   Retrieving setting for linked relays

3.   Storing linked relays to ASPEN relay database

4.   The Relay Data Interchange Logic Library (RDBI) editor tool
