DELETE | ALL INSIDE REGION COMMAND

The Delete | All Inside Region command in the Main Window lets you delete all the buses that are within a rectangle region you define with the mouse.  The program will also delete everything that is attached to those buses.

TO DELETE BUSES AND EQUIPMENT INSIDE A REGION:

1.    Specify the region.

Drag with the right mouse button down to delineate a rectangular region on the one-line diagram.

The region will be enclosed by a rectangle drawn with a dotted red pen.

2.    Select the Diagram | Delete | All inside Region command.

A Confirmation dialog box will appear showing all buses inside selected region.

Click on Add/Remove... button if you want to modify the selection

Check Retain all tie branches if you want to keep boundary buses from being removed.

The program will delete all the buses that are within the region. The program will also delete all the equipment that is attached to those buses. The deleted equipment will disappear from the one-line diagram.

Note: This command is dimmed and cannot be activated if there are no buses within the region.

3.    Remove the dotted red rectangle.

Click mouse button on an empty space outside of the rectangle to de-activate it.
