CAPACITOR-COMMUTATED DC LINES
Two-terminal, capacitor-commutated dc lines are modeled in ASPEN Power Flow. If you have a license for both OneLiner and Power Flow, and you are using the power-flow solution as the prefault voltage profile, the effects of the power injections at the dc terminals are taken into account before any faults are applied. OneLiner assumes there is no change in the output of the dc terminals during the short-circuit solution.
VSC DC LINES
The above explanation does NOT apply to VSC dc lines. The terminals of VSC dc lines, which should be modeled as Inverter-Interfaced Resources in OneLiner v15, are accounted for fully in both power flow and short circuit solutions.
