The Run | Show Time-Distance Curve command in the Time-Distance Window simulates faults and plots the time-distance curves for all the monitored relays.
No time-distance curves are visible when you first open the Time-Distance Window, or immediately after you have modified the diagram or parameters of the branches and relays. You must execute this command to show the time-distance curves.
TO SHOW THE TIME-DISTANCE CURVES:
1. Make sure there are one or more monitored relays on the diagram.
You can tell visually whether there are any monitored relays. The interior of a relay group symbol is painted gray if it contains one.
2. Change the fault type and the fault impedance, if needed, with the Misc | Options command.
3. Press the button at the upper left corner of the window.
Note: This command cannot be executed if there are no monitored relays on the diagram.
